what can i expect in a session?

I offer a few basics here. We will meet regularly, usually once a week. The session lasts for fifty minutes. We will meet in my home/office. Together we discuss what is going on in your situation.  We can make other arrangements if you have specific needs that require something different.

It is difficult to describe exactly what happens because it is different for everyone. But having a caring, kind, intelligent witness can be a powerful life-changing experience.

do you take insurance?

For several reasons, including your privacy and my professional independence, I am not a provider with any insurance carriers. If you have a PPO insurance plan I operate as an out-of-network provider. If you wish I will provide you with a statement that you can submit to your insurance carrier for direct-to-you reimbursement of any or part of our agreed-upon fee for my services. As with anything else in a relationship, discussion of fees can teach us a lot about life patterns.
