let's explore together.
Meet Elizabeth
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed in both California and Nevada. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. I work with individual adults and couples. Over the years my clients have included military personnel returning from deployment and family members of the service member, developmentally- disabled people and family members, gay and lesbian people, couples deciding whether to work to save a marriage or to work to be able to co-parent following a divorce.
My goal is to assist you in expanding possibilities for your life journey. Over my thirty plus years as a licensed therapist I have observed that all of us constantly strive to make life better. Most of us react to life experiences by creating a very narrow range of responses. Then we repeat these patterns until we realize that they no longer serve our need. We may feel “stuck;” we feel the need for a different approach Together we look at your situation and your consistent methods for handling it. You decide if you want to continue as you are. If not, then you try out new ways of responding.
